Carol Dineen is the president and co-founder of Management Research Services (MRS), Inc., an innovative service provider to the life and health insurance industry. Since starting the company in 1988, Carol has advanced MRS, Inc. with successful client relationships, exceptional customer service, and leading advancements in technology.
Carol contributes to the insurance industry by being involved with both national and regional industry associations including: ICA, AHOU, SOA, WAHLU, HUSG and URSG, FAHLU and the American Fraternal Alliance. For more than three decades, Carol has been participating in industry events where most people cordially know her as Corky Dineen.
Prior to establishing MRS, Inc., Carol was the Regional Director of Sales for the GIS Division of Policy Management Systems Corporation. In 1976 she started her career in the insurance business at Kemper Insurance, Long Grove, IL. She will soon be enjoying the benefits of working remotely from her home in Boulder, CO.
Scott Becker, CPA
Scott Becker, CPA, is the Finance and Administration Manager at MRS, Inc. Responsible for the traditional financial and accounting functions, Scott prides himself by managing the business “with the numbers” instead of “by the numbers”. Although this may appear to be a subtle use of words, the impact contributes to MRS, Inc’s commitment to the customer.
As our internal operational consultant, Scott brings his background in the banking, distribution, and supply chain industries to the team. With a focus on process improvement and the use of technology to develop cost effective solutions, Scott assists our front line service teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers. The goal is to remain nimble in our business approach as we work to deliver impactful cost effective solutions.
Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Mark Adam, Account Manager and HIPAA Privacy and Security Official, is the primary customer contact for ongoing operations and account services at MRS, Inc. Mark takes pride in responding to customer requests and proactively recommending solutions for our valued customers. He is also responsible for the important task of communicating ongoing industry standards and procedures.
Mark joined MRS, Inc. over 9 years ago and continues to impress the team on a regular basis. His attention to detail and eagerness when called into action is highly regarded with our customer contacts. Mark is dedicated to improving processes and efficiencies; which decrease turn-around times; and assist with increasing product placements. Mark attributes these accomplishments to his genuine relationship with clients and having a deeper dialog to truly understand how MRS, Inc. can make a real impact.
Mark is currently the Midwest Underwriting Conference (MUC) Treasurer, a former member of the MUC Conference Committee, and held the position of golf coordinator for the Wisconsin Association of Health and Life Underwriters.
Mark has a BS in Communication from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
Scott Leach, FLMI
Scott Leach, FLMI, is the Chief Underwriter and Industry Consulting Specialist at MRS, Inc. Scott joined the team in 2005, bringing 35 plus years of underwriting experience. As our in-house professional life and health risk management expert, Scott understands the critical operational and administrative aspects of the industry.
In his capacity as Chief Underwriter for MRS, Scott is involved with several aspects of the business including product development, dynamic workflow implementation, underwriting audits and process review, and tele-underwriting procedures.
Prior to joining MRS, Inc., Scott was the Director and Chief Life and Health Underwriter at Sentry Life Insurance located in Stevens Point, WI.
Tim Dineen is the Sales Manager at MRS, Inc. Tim is responsible for the development of new business and also drives the company's marketing efforts. Growing up around the insurance industry, he understands what is most important to our customers and those who are "not yet" customers.
As a professional salesperson, Tim recognizes the importance of being humble in his role. The first time you contact MRS, Inc., we want to listen and understand the objectives you are trying to accomplish. Tim is available to guide you through our product offerings and ready to assemble the team when further discovery is required. Each customer is unique; we recognize special requests are opportunities to deliver the right solution.
Tim has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
